Summer Camp for teens!

Experts agree that there are many reasons why kids should go to camp and when it comes to teens some of those reasons are more significant. There are many justifications for teens camp some of the most relevant are: developing interpersonal skills and form close friendships, take risks and challenges, experiences character growth and life skills, meet positive role models and discover their best self.


Moreover, some experts agree that more than any other time during youth, camps offer the respite, recreation and renewal to help teens thrive. Teens who have already been to camp know this and want to come back .

Are you a teen interested in video, film, or digital media?

Every year, Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) hosts an intensive five-day workshop where students of all skill levels learn to use technology and creative strategies to conceptualize and create a work of art. Contact: education@pamm.org

ICA Miami offers a two-week summer course designed to prepare incoming 7th and 8th grade students who intend to apply to magnet and charter arts schools. Participants will be guided by high school mentors from New World School of the Arts, Miami Arts Charter and DASH to prepare for the competitive application process through portfolio review and sketchbook building exercises. Throughout the course, high school mentors and ICA instructors will review schools’ application and audition requirements as well as assist participants and their parents or guardians to understand the level of performance expected if accepted into art school.
